Neal Lemlein began his film marketing career with the advertising agency, Doyle Dane Bernbach,  where his first project was ”Star Wars.” As Senior Vice President , Marketing and Media Services, at Twentieth Century Fox, he was responsible for the development and execution of all of the studio’s theatrical media-marketing campaigns. There, he developed index systems used throughout the industry to link advertising buys to audience profiles.

Signed by D’arcy Masius Benton and Bowles to found the agency’s entertainment division, he brought Paramount Pictures and NBC Television into the fold, generating billings of more than $100 million in less than twelve months. As Executive Vice President of Universal Studios Hollywood, he led six departments and a team of 75 employees in revitalizing the theme park’s image, growing its market share in the face of fierce competition. In the cable television field, he headed production and programming, as well as marketing, for the New York Times’ innovative “Popcorn Channel” joint-venture.

With Around the Bend Productions, he is putting that depth of experience and expertise to work to bring such exceptional properties as Kevin Doyle’s “The Informant” to the screen. A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Lemlein has taught the graduate course, “Strategic Campaign Planning” at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and serves as a popular event speaker with 4th Dimension Management.
