Michael A. Gray has served as world-wide publicity director and European production marketing director of United Artists Pictures and as vice president, public relations, of Universal Studios Hollywood. With his own company, MAGI, he created publicity and promotion campaigns for such films as “Star Wars,” “Platoon,” “E.T.” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and produced the electronic press kits for more than eighty major movies including “Silence of the Lambs,” “The Addams Family,” “Mississippi Burning” and “Phildelphia.”

He won “Telly” awards for his production of “Showscantastic,” a sixty screen multi-media look at advanced motion picture technology, and as the writer of the post-9/11 video series, “Turnout for Life,” mandated by law as required viewing by all New York State firefighters.A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Gray wrote and produced the satiric short, “Chuck Roast,” for the Academy’s public relations branch.
