The Plunge

Animation takes a lively leap forward in this time-traveling romantic comedy.

At a rave party in 1994, free-wheeling gen-Xers Kurt and Ani activate a mysterious PDA and wake up fifteen years into the future. Much to their surprise, they’re married to each other with kids, careers and a king-sized mortgage, forced to cope with modern life – and technology that wasn’t around when they were young just seconds ago.

When they find a pathway to the past, Ani goes back to her sleazy boy friend. Kurt returns to his stoned-out grunge band. But during their brief stay in 2009, something changed. Kurt fell in love with Ani. Winning her back could be murder. Literally.

So, too, could choosing between the life they once led and the one they foresaw. As Kurt and Ani challenge destiny, killing time takes on a whole new meaning and only one thing is certain. The future will never be the same.
